WILD CHILD PACKAGING & LABELING

Plastic packaging materials like bags, labels, and stickers account for over 40% of all the plastic produced worldwide. These items have a short usability lifetime of 6 months or less and usually end up in landfills.

Home compostable packaging & labels are made from natural materials such as sugar cane, corn or potato starch, and wood pulp which can be broken down into compost and used as fertilizer to enrich plants & soil. These items reduce the carbon footprint by requiring less energy to make than plastics, reducing landfill waste, and reducing methane, a potent greenhouse gas that affects climate change.
